The story takes place in a retirement home and creates a mosaic of the lives of old people who are trying to find a relationship with themselves and with life in these specific conditions. Each of its residents has a distinctive approach to life and its basic values. The most interesting features of the title, which is marked by a visibly cold production approach, are the worthy performances of the actors of the older generation. Some of them appeared in front of the camera after many years and unfortunately for the last time.

The troubles of a young married couple with an overprotective mother and mother-in-law. Usually it ends with a wedding, but this time it begins. Young doctor Petr Dvořák marries the charming Marta Hábová. However, their honeymoon to Venice is unexpectedly complicated by Martina's widowed mother, a rich, kind, but very absent-minded lady. First, they are not allowed to cross the border because they did not declare the things she secretly packed for them for the trip, and then they spend the night behind bars because the mother-in-law, in her absent-mindedness, reports the secretly packed things as stolen after she catches a pair of robbers in her house. It is no wonder that the young marriage is soon shaken to its foundations...

After a few months at the spa, 14-year-old Pavel discovers that his love, his classmate Zuzana, has outgrown him. In addition, she has found a new boy classmate, who is nicknamed Eifelák because of his height. This is a big shock for Pavel and like a proper teenager he is very worried, he invents blood feuds which usually turn against him, in short he is completely distraught.
